3. What facilities are available for children?
We provide essential facilities with a focus on cleanliness and safety, adhering to the philosophy of Traditional Education in India.
4. What are the accommodation arrangements?
Accommodation is simple, designed to create a learning environment that encourages children to step outside their comfort zones. This approach reflects the Holistic Education model in India, promoting growth beyond material comforts.
5. How do you ensure children are comfortable during the hot summer?
The camp is held in a naturally airy environment, allowing children to connect with nature while they learn. Comforts such as AC are not provided during the camp. One of the key goals is to help children experience life outside their comfort zones, enabling them to develop physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual resilience. This experience fosters self-regulation and prepares them to handle the unexpected challenges that life may present.
6. What food will be served to the children?
We provide pure vegetarian meals during the camp, meticulously designed by an Ayurvedic vaidya to align with the day's activities. The menu includes fresh fruits, juices, and other nourishing options to keep children hydrated and energized.
7. Where do children sleep and study?
Children sleep in their allotted rooms at night, with separate accommodations for boys and girls, ensuring privacy and comfort. All other activities, including study sessions, take place in a common area, promoting unity and shared learning.

8. How is the safety of girl children ensured during the camp?
We maintain separate accommodation for boys and girls. Female teachers and volunteers supervise the girls' area, and male teachers are not permitted to enter the girls' accommodation. No external visitors, including parents, are allowed on the premises without prior permission at the entrance gate. All children are under the constant supervision of Acharyas, ammas, and volunteers, ensuring a secure environment.
9. Is it possible to see or contact the child during the camp?
Children are not allowed to meet/see or contact their parents during the entire camp duration. This approach encourages self-reliance.
10. Why is the camp not organized as a day scholar program?
We do not organize day scholar camps. According to the Gurukul Education System, transformation and learning are most effective when students live close to their mentors. This immersive environment allows children to learn by observing and interacting with dedicated acharyas, promoting holistic development. Residential programs reduce distractions from electronic devices such as smartphones, gadgets, and televisions, enabling children to concentrate on their education and personal growth.
At Gurukul's Elite Learning Program, we create an ideal environment for transformation, helping children become independent and resilient, regardless of external circumstances.
